Processes and performance: Less is more
For special requirements sometimes the best efficiency is simplicity: according to customer requirements, we have designed a new tube bending solution that combines simple operations to an economic process.
Needed was a process-optimized system for the automatic production of closed tube frames with up to six bends. Only 15 seconds cycle time requires the intelligent transfluid® solution to reduce the frame ends, to bring them together during the bending process and to insert them into an additional press equippment.
A tube bunker that holds 240 tubes with a diameter of 30 mm and feeds the bending machine individually, allowing a continuous machine operation of up to one hour without the deployment of personnel. In the first step, the pipe ends are axially reduced. After bending, the fabricated tube frames are automatically fed to the pressing device and got fixed via different holding devices. The attachment of different press cuts and flattenings ensures that the paint may run off without problems during the following painting process.
For the bending of the tubes is one transfluid® double-head bending machine used, which has two axially servo-electric positioned bending heads working simultaneously. The positioning of the tool ensures that the ends are inserted automatically into each other and in a rapid and efficient process closed frames can be produced.
